FLYHT: Update from International Civil Aviation Organization ("ICAO") Meetings $FLY $FLYLF

CALGARY, ALBERTA, Feb 10, 2015 (Marketwired) -- FLYHT Aerospace Solutions Ltd. (otcqx:FLYLF)(FLY) (the "Company" or "FLYHT") is pleased to provide an update on the International Civil Aviation Organization ("ICAO") meetings held last week in Montreal, Quebec. FLYHT attended the industry working group looking into aircraft data collection, storage and uses. The Company was well represented and actively engaged. Initial recommendations, with proposed applicability effective 2021, were made to the industry for consideration and the working group has an end of 2015 deliverable deadline to ICAO.

Among the recommendations from the High Level Security Council meeting that was attended by government officials and United Nations delegates and occurred prior to the industry meetings were:

--  A new 15-minute aircraft tracking "standard",
-- The "standard" is performance-based and not prescriptive, meaning that
    global airlines would be able to use any technologies and procedures
    they deem suitable, and;
-- A three-tiered approach for global aircraft tracking covering normal,
    abnormal and distress conditions.

Industry groups will recommend suitable applications of the recommendations.
